  • Funky Faces only use paints which are hypoallergenic, antibacterial and water-based and specific to the face and body art painting industry.
  • They are non-toxic and fully compliant with EU and FDA toy and cosmetics regulations.
  • All paints are easily removed with soap and water, although baby wipes and shampoo are also effective at bath time.
  • Funky Faces use safe cosmetic grade glitters which are a fine loose dust, suitable for face and body painting.
  • As with any cosmetics, some people may be sensitive to some of the ingredients. Funky Faces will not be held liable in the event of any rare reaction.
  • All sponges and brushes are thoroughly cleaned before all bookings to minimise transfer of any germs or infections.
  • People appearing to suffer from open wounds, cold sores, chicken pox, measles, mumps, runny noses, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions, eczema will not be painted.
  • The minimum age for face painting is usually 3yrs old, but Funky Faces will paint a child younger than this, if the child is willing and remains still.
  • Children (and their actions) remain the responsibility of their parents or party organisers at all times.
  • Funky Faces will be as careful as possible when painting, however, cannot accept responsibility if face paint gets transferred onto surfaces, clothing, carpets, or other soft furnishings after the child has been painted etc.
  • Clothing that has been in contact with face paint should be soaked overnight in COLD water and a small amount of usual washing detergent before washing normally.
  • For your peace of mind, Funky Faces has full Public Liability Insurance to a value of £5 million, specifically tailored for Face and Body Painting
